We build software, add AI to it, and help you make the technical decisions around it. Most engagements involve all three, in whatever proportion the work needs.
Software development
We build web and mobile applications from the ground up, and we extend products that already exist. That can be a new feature, a payments and billing system, an internal tool, an integration with a third-party service, or the marketing and analytics plumbing that tells you what customers are doing.
Once something is live, we look after it. Monitoring, security updates, dependency upgrades, bug fixes and the small improvements that keep a product healthy are part of most engagements, usually on a monthly retainer.
AI integration
We add AI to products and to the way a business runs. Chat and voice assistants, answering questions from a company's own documents, generating content, translating, processing documents, and agents that carry out multi-step work: we have shipped all of these for paying users.
The hard part is rarely the model. It is choosing the right one, writing prompts that hold up, checking output with a human in the loop, and keeping cost and latency where they need to be. That is most of what we do on AI work.
Technical leadership
Growing software businesses run into decisions that need a technical head: what to build next, how to architect it, which vendors and infrastructure to use, whom to hire, how to price. We work through these with you against a roadmap we build together.
We also do this in smaller pieces: a code review, an audit of your stack, or help planning and prioritising a project. For companies that need technical leadership without a full-time hire, it runs as a part-time engagement.
How we build
We work across modern stacks, mostly JavaScript and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js or Python on the back end, and cloud services for hosting, data and infrastructure. We pick the stack that fits your product and your team, not the other way round.
We make full use of AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. They let us move faster and spend more of your budget on the decisions that matter, while the code still gets reviewed by a person before it ships.
Getting started
Most engagements start with a small assignment: a code review, an audit of your tech stack, or a new feature. From there we decide together whether a longer working relationship makes sense.
