What to expect
- How do engagements start?
- With something small and well scoped: a code review, an audit of your tech stack, or a new feature. From there we decide together whether a longer working relationship makes sense.
- Is there a minimum commitment?
- No. A month is fine. That said, the work gets better after three to six months, once we know the product, the codebase and the business well.
- Who does the work?
- Manish leads every engagement and does most of the work himself, with trusted specialists brought in when a project needs more hands. Everything lives in your repositories and accounts, documented as we go.
- How many clients do you take on?
- A few at a time, so each one gets real attention. We would rather say no than stretch.
- How does day-to-day work run?
- You send requests whichever way suits you: Slack, email, or a shared board. We discuss the requirement if it needs discussing, build it, and you review the work in progress. Small features usually take two to three business days. Larger ones are broken into smaller deliverables.
- What's your stack?
- Modern and mainstream: JavaScript and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js or Python on the back end, cloud services for hosting, data and infrastructure, and the major model providers for AI. We pick what fits your product and your team, and we make full use of AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
- Do you do maintenance and support?
- Yes. Monitoring, security updates, bug fixes and the general upkeep that keeps a product healthy are part of most long engagements.
- Security, privacy, NDAs?
- Proper authentication and authorisation, secure APIs, GDPR-aware handling of user data, and code review before deployment. We sign NDAs.
